Basics Workshop. No prerequisite.
This
workshop introduces you to Zentangle, an easy to learn, relaxing method
of creating beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. With
Zentangle, "Anything is possible one stroke at a time™." No drawing experience is necessary; no skills are necessary but the desire to play, explore and create.
You will be introduced to
the method, learn at least eight tangle patterns, simple shading and
enhancements, and create at least two beautiful tiles to take home.
Beyond Basics A Workshop
Prerequisite: Basics Workshop or both Z 101 and Z 102.
This
workshop introduces additional tangles, some of which require more
concentration, explores shading,and tangleations. It introduces black
tiles.
Beyond Basics B Workshop
Prerequisite: Basics Workshop or both Z 101 and Z 102.
This workshop introduces additional tangles, some of which require more concentration, explores shading, and tangleations. It introduces black tiles.
Several tangle patterns different from those introduced in Beyond Basics A are introduced.
Tangling in the Round.
Prerequisite: Beyond Basics Workshop or both Z 101 and Z 102
This workshop will
introduce tangling on round 4.5 in. tiles and will include both
pre-strung and a free form tangle.
Tangling with Renaissance Tiles
Prerequisite: Beyond Basics Workshop or both Z 101 and Z 102.
This workshop will explore tangling on the new Renaissance tiles. Some new tangle patterns will be presented, but the workshop will focus more on learning to use the three colors, black, white and brown, along with more subtle shading techniques.
Intermediate Workshop
Prerequisite: Basics Workshop AND either Beyond Basics A or B or all the full sequence: Z 101, Z 102 and Z 103
This
workshop introduces some of the most complex tangle patterns, includes
focused practice on shading, and creating your own stepouts for
patterns.
