Class Description:  Organic garden tangles are Zentangle® Inspired Art (ZIA) where free flowing tangle patterns are used to create a garden scene.

During the first two sessions tangle patterns will be used to create many unusual organic garden features, such as leaves, trees, blossoms, buds, stems, shrubs, etc.   In each of these sessions you will both learn new patterns and practice modifying tangle patterns to create garden features.  You will also create a ZIA in each class.

In the third session, you will create a larger piece ( 9 X 12) on toned tan paper, using black and brown Micron pens, white charcoal, and white gel pens.  There will be the possibility to add hints of color through shading.

Participants will be given a list of suggested tangle patterns and tasks to explore between sessions.

Materials (a $20 value)  included in the class are a toned tan journal, Zentangle tiles, toned tan paper for ZIAs, a Signo Uni-ball white gel pen, Brown Micron 05, and use of colored pencils.
